My Story
Since completing a Diploma of Visual Art (Ceramics) at ANU School of Art in Canberra (2013), I have developed a ceramics art practise alongside my production range, FRATTEMPO. This Italian word translates as “meanwhile”.
FRATTEMPO references my cultural heritage and captures the essence of my making practise, where I explore ideas of memory, nostalgia and the passage of time. My aim is to create a quiet, contemplative space for the viewer or user of my work. Encouraging a moment of pause by turning everyday tasks into small rituals.
